What video resolutions does the G980H support?

What should I do if the video is unclear?
Please download the original video, as the real-time view on the mobile app is not at the highest resolution. Videos downloaded via the app may be compressed when shared through messaging tools, resulting in a loss of quality. Ensure the lens and the windshield are clean. Use a lens cleaning cloth to remove any dirt or smudges. In older vehicles, severe engine vibrations can cause the dashcam and windshield to shake, affecting video recording. The vibrations from the engine are transferred to the dashcam, resulting in shaky footage. It is recommended to mount the rear camera on the rear windshield. Avoid placing the heating wires in the center of the lens. Poor light transmission through window film and a rear windshield that hasn’t been cleaned for a long time can also impact recording quality.
How does the parking mode work and does it require additional hardware?
Yes—when used with a hardwire kit (required accessory), it supports 24/7 parking mode including sentry, collision, and time-lapse recording. This enables monitoring and recording even when the vehicle is turned off

Ich hab lange gesucht für eine Dashcam für vorne und hinten. Durch ein gutes Angebot kam ich auf diese Cam. Der Versand lief wie gewohnt flott. Cam ausgepackt, alles war vorhanden und die Cam sieht überraschend gut und recht klein aus. Vor allem die hintere Kamera ist hübsch klein. So, ein Netzteil her und ausprobieren. Klappte aber nicht so richtig. Service angemailt und nachgefragt. Der Service ist super! Innerhalb von einem Tag hatte ich meine Antwort. Mit einem kleinen Netzteil, daß weniger als 2000 mAh liefert funktioniert das nicht. Im Auto angeschlossen und es geht!! Später nochmal mit einem stärkeren Netzteil probiert, das ging dann auch. Der Einbau ging sehr einfach! Die Einrichtung der Dashcam ist soweit ganz übersichtlich gestaltet, hat jedenfalls gut geklappt. Die Bildqualität vorne sowie hinten finde ich sehr gut, man kann alles sehr gut erkennen - Nummernschilder sind einwandfrei zu lesen. Ich kann wärmstens diese klasse Dashcam mit dem guten und sehr bemühten Service empfehlen. Eines vermisse ich allerdings: und zwar einen Knopf wo man der Cam sagen kann, dass man jetzt aufnehmen möchte im Falle eines Falles!
Die kamera ist super lässt sich sehr einfach installieren und funktioniert einwandfrei die Auflösung ist super die parkwache löst bei personen oder auch bewegungen nahe am fahzeug Licht Verhältnisse alles löst aus und filmt alles, nachts filmt sie auch erkenntlich und das bild ist auch gut ton aufnahme ist auch ziemlich klar und im Allgemein ist es eine sehr gute Kamera Rückansicht ist auch top und wie gesagt super einfach zu installieren daher 5sterne klare kauf Empfehlung

I have used this dashcam on my vacation trip for the first time. Although I did not test every function (especially the driver assistance options) it is dashcam that does what it needs to do. Record your trip.
You can choose a variety of recording length for the videos. I have chosen one minute recordings so you don’t have to wait that long to download clips.
Installing the dashcam is a breeze. Cable of a midsized hatchback leave around 50cm of slack. So that’s long enough.
Going through the initial setup had a little bump, the first time the setup did not finish. I needed to do it again after the reboot. Second time the setup finished successfully.
I turned off all the driver assistance options because they already available on my car.
Setting options via the app did not work for me. The app displays the settings are saved successfully, but in reality the dashcam still has the old settings. Instead I set the options on the dashcam itself.
One thing that I found was that the dashcam is running pretty hot. After an hour of driving the dashcam felt like a cup of tea that has been suiting for 10 minutes after pouring.
I was pleasantly surprised of the supplied SD card. All previous dashcams I have owned did not have that.
The interface of the dashcam menu and the app are clean and easy to follow.
As far as I have been able to find out the Audio can not be silenced at the moment. Maybe in a feature firmware update.
A little preview of the recording quality has been added. I’ve setup the camera to 4k.
All in all I am pleasantly surprised by the feature rich dashcam.
This dashcam has a great picture quality, better than my old one. Its also good in low light situations, still being nice and clear. I love that it has a rear camera as well as my friend recently got her car run into the back of and this gives me peace of mind that I would have a record if it happened to me.
The cables included are a good size to run the back dashcam and it works fine like that or you can buy an install kit separately to get it hard wired in if you prefer.
The camera itself is intuitive and simple to use and there is also an app you can download for more control from your phone. A good priced camera thats easy to set up and use from the box.
Die Cam und der Umfang sind entsprechend des Preises ihr Geld wert. Ich bin ihr nach dem Kauf 1300km nach Italien und weitere 1300Km zurückgefahren. Mein Eindruck:

-Die Spurüberwachung ist manchmal ungenau, ebenso die Fußgängererkennung
-keine Möglichkeit, die Cam horizontal zu verstellen
-Parküberwachung nur gegen Aufpreis durch Hardwarekit. Dazu sei gesagt, dass nur die fordere Cam Aktiv wird
Notfallaufnahme wurde nicht erstellt, da nichts passiert ist.
Have a similar camera in my other vehicle. Both work with Botlslab APP. the only issue was cable for rear camera gets in the way of power cable due to angle connection
Das Zubehör der Dashcam ist in vollem Umfang enthalten ( Speicherkarte, die Verbindungskabel für vorne sowie für hinten und natürlichen die Cam selber). Die Dashcam läßt sich leicht in Betrieb nehmen. Sie kennt alle Satelliten, nur für die Einstellung der Uhrzeit muß man eine App installieren. Es ist ein großer Vorteil dieser Cam, dass man sich auf dem Handy die Aufnahmen ansehen kann. Man muss also nicht erst die Speicherkarte herausnehmen und am Laptop auslesen.

Die Dashcam ist sehr gut und funktioniert Tadellos.
Sie liefert sehr gute 4K Aufnahmen und ist einfach zu installieren. Alles was man benötigt ist dabei.
Eine Kamera für die Heckscheibe ist auch dabei, doch installiert habe ich diese noch nicht.
Auch hat die Kamera eine Parkraumüberwachung die man einstellen kann. Auch eine Fußgängerwarnung ist enthalten.
Eine 64 GB Speicherkarte ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Die Videos kann man sich mit Hilfe der „Botslab App“ anschauen und herunterladen auf das Smartphone.
In der App kann man auch sämtliche Einstellugen vornehmen.
Die Kamera redet auch, allerdings nur in Englisch, der Rest, also das Menü ist auf Deutsch.
Ich kann diese Dashcam nur empfehlen 👍
Ich bin wirklich sehr zufrieden mit dieser Dashcam. Die Bildqualität ist super – klare Aufnahmen bei Tag und auch bei Nacht. Die Bedienung ist einfach und unkompliziert, man kommt direkt gut zurecht, auch ohne große Technikkenntnisse.
Nach etwa einem Monat hatte ich ein kleines Problem mit der Kamera, aber der Verkäufer war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich habe kostenlos eine neue Kamera bekommen, ohne Aufwand – richtig toller Kundenservice!
Für den Preis bekommt man hier wirklich ein sehr gutes Produkt, das zuverlässig funktioniert. Ich kann die Kamera auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Ich habe immer gedacht das das einbauen der dashcams sehr mühsam, und nur mit Erfahrung gemacht werden kann, nach 20min habe ich beide Kamera eingebaut und installiert, also wirklich kinderleicht zum einbauen, zu Aufnahmen würde ich sagen es ist ausreichen und man erkennt alles, mehr war auch nicht mein Ziel, Bedienung in der App ist auch simpel, demnächst kaufe ich mir ein Kit für die dauerparküberwachung.
Im ganzen bin ich zufrieden und kann es weiter empfehlen

It has smart features alerting you when the car in front has driven off , if you are too close to the car in front of you and even when you have changed lane . Cable was easy to install. Had difficulty getting wire and fuse to mess while almost having to stand on my head at the fuse box under the dash. Have seen other brands that had a better wiring connector to the fuse.
