1080P Side Dash Cam for G980H Multi Channel

Dislike that the box contents led me to believe I needed to purchase additional side cameras when they did come in the box package.

This was a pretty straightforward addition to my dash cam system. The adjustable lens made positioning much easier than I expected.

I added this side camera to my dash cam setup to get better coverage. The install was pretty straightforward once I figured out the placement. The adjustable angle actually helps more than I expected. During the day, the video looks clear enough to make out details like cars passing or someone walking by. At night, it is not super bright, but the IR still picks up movement and shapes, which is what I really needed. I have driven with it for a few weeks now, including some night trips and parking lot situations, it is been useful having that extra angle recorded.

I have been using this side camera with my dash cam for a few weeks. The biggest benefit for me is simply having another viewing angle. The camera was easy enough to install and adjust. Video quality during the day is good, and I can clearly see nearby vehicles and pedestrians.

The side camera gives me an extra angle that my regular dash cam could not cover. I spent a little time adjusting the position, but once I found the right spot, everything worked as expected. Daytime video is sharp enough to see details clearly. At night, it is not as bright as daytime footage, but I can still make out vehicles and movement. It has been especially useful in parking lots.
